Starship Troopers 3 : Marauder

I was browsing around to see if there are any good movies, i thought i give this a shot.

Recall to the first movie, bout 10 years ago or so, it was a pretty awesome movie. I liked it alot as a kid. A bunch of modern soldiers went around killing bugs which appears in millions. Everything doesn't look that real if you watch it again this time around, but heck...its 10 years ago!

I'm not gonna lie to you, THIS MOVIE IS DARN HORRIBLE!

I didn't watch the second part of it as it simply looks terrible on HBO, Starworld or Cinemax? I'm not sure which channel but it better be on cinemax, coz it suck! I can't even bear 5 mins of it.

How could they be relating this to the original movie? Its probably another movie trilogy where everyone remembered the first one as epic and the rest of it as a peice of crap in the recycle bin. No...make it a trash bin, you wouldn't even want it in as a recycled item!

First of all, this movie looks promising thru the trailer and poster. People would be expecting alot of mindless bug fighting. But NOOOOO....they need to put in some corny love-political-religion twist into the plot.

First half of the movie, its friggin filled with puns and corny punchlines.
Look at the poster, ITS A GOOD DAY TO FRY???
Thats like some Scary Movie tagline! You know where they got this tagline from? From the very beginning of the scene where this mr technician-nobody was exclaiming how the electrical fences are frying the bugs.

The characters and role-play in this movie is definitely gonna laugh ur ass off. They were trying so hard to potray a signature personality and ended up being completely awkward and it just doesnt blend in!

Its like, why the hell you're acting like a superior general in command whose trying to be friendly where everyone just gives you the 'oh-its-just-another-insurance-agent look'. Even my discipline teachers can do a better job in that role.

Don't even get me started on the effects. The very first battle scene with the bugs, there were ppl running in chaos as they were attacked. Fair enough, seems like an anticipating moment.
Until they started shooting at the bugs.

Ok...there were bullet sounds, bugs dying, soldiers screaming. Wait, ARE THEY JUST POINTING THEIR GUN AT THE BUGS THE BUGS JUST DIED FROM BULLET SOUNDS???

Omg, i cant believe it, you cant even spot a single spark from the guns from the first battle scenes. Its like bugs just decided to explode when being pointed with the rifle. How awesome.
Can't they be more obvious on not making much effort?

Yes, they can. Remember how the potray the commercial like scenes during the first movie to line up some story line along the movie? That was pretty creative at that time.
NOW GET OVER IT.

I can't believe that they actually still reusing the same concept. It just doesn't work anymore, not anymore.

If you've seen sci-fi movies these days and you watch this crap, you would be thinking "This is quite a good movie, when was it released? 2001?"

"No, it was released past 2 months"

"Okay, i take that back. It looks like a pile of shit"

I think they just recycled stuffs ever since the first movie. Barely any new bugs in this besides the SCORPIO. Hell with it, tht fella only made its appearance for less than a minute and only his tail and claws be seen. Same old ugly battle suit and bigger, more plastic looking guns. Even Halo looks cooler.

Ok, here's the thing, everyone loves the naked shower scene in the first movie, so i assume the producers would slip in some nude scenes in the next 2 movies.

First movie
Second movie, I love how they labeled it as the success of starship troopers. lol.
And the third one
Lol, did somethin happened to Skinner and someone needed to replace his place to fight for mankind?

Lets look at the positive side of this movie k?
I'm not sure how the naked scenes would affect ya, but its certainly wont be much of a turn on compared to the huge pile of nonsense going on in the whole movie.

The settings are pretty good in planet OM-1. At least they weren't recycling another past scene.

Bottomline:
I had hell lot more fun of playing the game than to watch 10 mins of this movie. Go get the game k, its so much fun playin that then to watch 1 half hour of pure crap.


This is a far cry if compared to the movie.
