Kuching Town
Its another outstation work trip and this time its all the way to East Malaysia! And i'm proud to say that I've been to every state in Malaysia *grin* In a nutshell, Kuching seemed to be a small and simple town. Not too much of a busy and occupied environment. Maybe KL's rush hour traffic jam is just bad for mentality.
Took me a few tries to get this shot right. Ever noticed those gift shops where they don't allow photographing? Yeah, I did that anyway, since I have no intention of stealing their 'interior' or souvenier designs. Its the same damn friggin keychain in every shop. Anyway, just hang the camera around your neck and rest both of your palms on top of it. Now just pretend you're looking closely at an item while you use you index finger to autofocus and press the shutter release. Of course you must turn off your AF-assist light.
(Yeah, 2nd pic and i'm already showing you a random crack on the wall/pillar)
This is Waterfront...because its in front of the river. Nvm that, but seriously thats the name of the place.
He's practically there the entire day. I thought he have a day time job when I first saw him playin at night. You know, IT technician by day, street rockstar by night
A 50 cents boat ride across the river(the one beside Waterfront). Same rate as crossing to Taman Negara at Pahang. DIfference is that this ride seemed more worth while
Postcard shot
Nearby shop/hut after crossing the river
Tadaa...Fort Magherita. Brooke's holiday house
The 'insert inspirational quote here' shot
Memorial for his wife...i think. She better not be burried under, since we're just walking everywhere over it
And I end it with a letterbox 16:9 movie style pic of...clouds!
